Rename, hide, reorder, and group tickets once, and have Instagram DMs, the event page, your Link Page, and the AI assistant all show the same thing.

One place to decide how tickets look

Ticketing platforms send ticket names the way the box office typed them: ALL YOU CAN DRINK - WOMEN, GA (male), Double Lounge Chair. Display Rules let you say once how a ticket or listing should appear, and Diem applies it everywhere a buyer can see it. Nothing is changed at the source, so a resync from the platform never undoes your work.

Write your first rule

  1. Open Rules

In the seller app, choose Rules in the sidebar, then New rule. Give it a name you will recognize later.

  2. Say what to match

Choose whether the rule applies to tickets or to the listing itself, then narrow it: name contains, name is exactly, a pattern, a price range, one listing, a day of the week, hours before doors, or availability. Leave everything blank to match every ticket.

  3. Say what to change

Add one or more actions: rename, set the description, use an image, hide, set the position, put in a section, or set the DM button label.

  4. Preview

Open the Preview tab, pick a real event and a surface, and compare Before and After. The list underneath names every change and the rule that made it.

  5. Publish

Drafts save automatically and buyers never see them. Choose Publish to make the rules live on every surface at once.

Example: three open-bar tiers become Men / Women

A venue sells Admission, All You Can Drink, and All You Can Drink · Women. Buyers should see one Open Bar section with two clean choices.

Three rules, in priority order
MatchActions
Ticket name contains “all you can drink”Put in section “Open Bar”; set the description
Ticket name contains “women”Rename to “Women”; position 1
Ticket name is exactly “All You Can Drink”Rename to “Men”; position 2

The three tiers still exist underneath, and each option still checks out as the real ticket it came from. The DM shows an Open Bar card with Women and Men buttons, and the event page shows an Open Bar section with the same two options.

Order and priority

  • Rules run top to bottom. Every rule that matches applies.
  • When two rules change the same thing, the lower rule in the list wins. Put general rules first and specific overrides after them.
  • Add a Stop action to a rule when nothing later should touch what it matched.
  • Matching ignores case and also checks the platform’s original ticket name, so a rename never hides a tier from a later rule.
  • Keywords and the Flow Builder decide which messages go out and which listings are attached. Rules decide how those tickets look. Rules never rewrite a button you wrote yourself in a flow.

Ask the assistant instead

With the Diem MCP connected, say what you want in plain language: “Call the all-you-can-drink tickets Open Bar and show the women’s ticket first.” The assistant drafts the rules, shows you the before and after on a real event, and publishes when you confirm.
